Our aim is to provide a comprehensive, accessible and up-to-date set of publications that will allow any person, new to the issues or otherwise, to access all the key information they need to understand any topic listed on our website.
We aim to minimise the number of downloadable documents on each page, to make the issues more accessible. Less is more! Older documents will be archived, or links provided.
Our criteria for selecting documents are that they:
- are written for the general public and accessible
- are reasonably comprehensive (rather than being focused on a specific aspect or case study)
- are thoroughly researched and referenced
- incorporate an analysis of the way in which corporate globalisation and neoliberal economics are driving environmental and social crises
We also aim to produce simpler and briefer summaries on various topics, primarily based on the above publications.
We will also provide links to data sources relevant to the various topics.
Finally, we aim to keep things simple. We want to start Critical Information Collective as a small enterprise that can grow and evolve in response to the needs identified by partner organisations and social movements. You should find that the pages are constantly changing and that there is always something new to read!
